  Nothing but good things to say a bout the restaurant. The food is wonderful and I recommend the Ruby Trout. The staff is very accommodating and the host went out of his way to be sure we were enjoying ourselves.

  I rarely write reviews. However, I couldn't let this experience be shared with only friends and family. We arrived at 8 pm and the place was dead. It took us about 20 minutes to get our drinks and still hadn't placed a dinner or appetizer order. We finally placed an order and our food came out about 30 minutes after the order. If it was busy and we had a large table I'd totally understand, but there were only a hand full of customers in the restaurant. When the food arrived (the fettuccine chicken Alfredo) it was a very small portion. I took a bite and the chicken was freezing and looked and tasted very much like the frozen bagged, pre-cooked chicken I occasionally buy from the grocery store that my daughter likes to eat. It was awful. My buddy had the same issue. We sent it back and we got a new plate out in about 5 minutes. However, one plate was missing bread and they asked us who didn't have the bread when we returned our meal...(Apparently they they felt that because he ate the bread he didn't deserve another piece). So we finished the food and only received apologies from Todd the manager and nothing else more..like a a free desert or our orders taken off of the ticket. We still ordered desert and that took about 25 minutes to get to us because the man who delivered it to us said it was freshly made. So at that time, around 9:30-an hour and a half after we arrived-I decided to talk to Todd. He was nice enough to take off the two horrendous meals that gave me the runs that I'm dealing with as I write this. I paid and tipped the server about 25% because it looked like she was trying. I wish I tipped less because as I was leaving she hugged me and said "sorry for our slow Mexican cooks..." I thought that was uncalled for because I waited tables for three years while going to college in Texas and we had many great cooks that happened to be Mexican. Finally, as we were waiting for my friend to get his keys, we could see into the kitchen from where the car was parked. In that kitchen were the Mexican cooks taking swigs from a handle of Wild Turkey whiskey. At that point all we could do was laugh because we couldn't have made this crap up! Anyway, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone because for the price the food is bad and the management seems a little inexperienced. Hope this helps!

  Friendly and warm atmosphere after a long day on the mountain. The food was average, the service was horrible and slow. Communication with the staff was nonexistent.
